Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

If you follow KGP on Facebook, you know that I recently was approved for an organization called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Check out their website to learn more. NILMDTS is a big contributing factor to why I got into photography. When I heard about this organization, my heart broke for parents that have endured such heartache and I hoped that someday I would be blessed to be a part of NILMDTS.

That day has come and I will be attending a NILMDTS training and be shadowing very soon. I'm feeling an array of emotion and am asking for prayer for the strength that only God will be able to provide...for the families, for the photographers, for healing.

{M Family}

Meet the M family! Aren't they so cute? I met Cory at my MOPS group. (If you're a mom of preschoolers be sure to check MOPS out!) Ten months ago I was pregnant with my third boy and shortly after she became pregnant with her third child. And...She finally got her baby girl! Whenever we meet I say to her, "I can't believe you got your girl!" And what a sweetheart she is! She has the bluest eyes!!
She has some adorable older brothers. They were so much fun! The older one loved to give me his sweet smile...both are familiar with the camera because every time I had my camera ready, I heard: CHEESE! Here is one of my faves from the shoot because it made me feel right at home, being a mom of three boys;)
Thank you for having me over! I had a great time in your beautiful home! Enjoy your sneak peek!

{S Kids}

The S kids are growing up so fast! They are now in 1st grade, turning 4, half way to 3, and almost 8 months! I'm so happy to be a part of this family's life and capture their milestones. Baby Nevaeh took her first steps crawling and I got to share in this wonderul moment too! Sweet kids, you are too cute! I enjoyed hanging out with you! Thanks for a great morning!

{Baby Girl K}

By far the smallest baby I've ever been blessed to meet, this baby was so darling! She was such a dainty little thing-how precious! And her big sister was such a sweetheart! When I asked if she likes being a big sister she said, "mm-hmm". I pray that these two sisters will look after each other and become best friends. Thank you so much for allowing me into your beautiful home to preserve these special moments of your newest addition. Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! Enjoy your sneak peek!

{Baby B's Newborn Session}

I had the privilege of taking some pictures of baby "B" in his first hours of life. A few days ago I returned to the L's home for a newborn session. This family (like me) has a love/addiction for a wonderful and glorious beverage: coffee. So it was just so appropriate to bring my coffee cup-ok really it's a tea cup, but it worked so well. And he was just so cozy! Mom is one of our worship leaders at Northern Hills Church, so I loved Dad's idea of combining two of her passions. Thank you for allowing me to capture this moment. Enjoy your new blessing, don't blink, because you'll miss so much! Naked baby + no diaper =

{Big "D"}

While in Nebraska I took a "few" pictures of my adorable nephew, Dane. Just a few...oh, close to 200!!! So trying to pick my faves was nothing short of impossible! :) Just look at those eyes, cheeks, and curls! Isn't he stinkin' cute?! He does smile-a lot! But he does make you work for it! Here is his Mr. Serious face:
My sister is such a good mommy and my nephew just adores her. He is so much a mama's boy!

He doesn't like the grass so much ;)

{The E Family}

I had such a hard time picking pictures for your sneak peek! But what can you do when you have such a stinkin' cute family to photograph?!? Sometimes my job is so tough! :) We played on Mommy's vintage horsey...had a tea party... wrestled... 9 month old, Gavin, sent out a quick text... and Bella and baby brother even tasted some grass-sorry, Jenna! I should've been on that, but the photo opportunist in me overpowered my mommy will! I had a blast with you guys! Thanks for the opportunity to "shoot" you. :) I hope you enjoy your pictures!
