{Sweet E}

Take a look at this little sweetheart! One look into those big brown eyes and your heart is just gone! I had so much fun chasing (literally, chasing) this little girl around! We smelled flowers, played with a bouncy ball, snuggled with her lovey, and stepped on a burr! Her little feet were bare and she got one right on the heel :( It was a good thing Mom & Dad were right there with hugs and kisses! B & J, thank you so much for asking me to take your pictures. It was so much fun hanging out with you three! Enjoy your sneak peek!

{Baby Girl K}

By far the smallest baby I've ever been blessed to meet, this baby was so darling! She was such a dainty little thing-how precious! And her big sister was such a sweetheart! When I asked if she likes being a big sister she said, "mm-hmm". I pray that these two sisters will look after each other and become best friends. Thank you so much for allowing me into your beautiful home to preserve these special moments of your newest addition. Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! Enjoy your sneak peek!

{Baby B's Newborn Session}

I had the privilege of taking some pictures of baby "B" in his first hours of life. A few days ago I returned to the L's home for a newborn session. This family (like me) has a love/addiction for a wonderful and glorious beverage: coffee. So it was just so appropriate to bring my coffee cup-ok really it's a tea cup, but it worked so well. And he was just so cozy! Mom is one of our worship leaders at Northern Hills Church, so I loved Dad's idea of combining two of her passions. Thank you for allowing me to capture this moment. Enjoy your new blessing, don't blink, because you'll miss so much! Naked baby + no diaper =

{The C Family}

I have to say this was one of the most fun times I've had yet in my new photography adventure! I was so excited to see the boys were dressed in overalls without shirts-it would go perfect with what I had in mind for these cuties. Seriously! How cute is this family? I just love their eyes and that blond-y hair! Thank you for allowing me to capture your family at this stage. I have more on the way, but until you see the rest...enjoy your sneak peek!

{Introducing Baby B}

Welcome baby boy! Baby "B" was born on July 15th to Jason & Neva. They are our dear friends and our in-town family. We are so excited for you and want to congratulate you on your sweet baby boy! Neva-you are now, officially, the newest member of the Moms with Boys Club! We love you guys! I can't wait for our session on Saturday!

"I Dare You To Move"
Welcome to the planet

Welcome to existence

Everyone's here

Everyone's here

Everybody's watching you now
Everybody waits for you now

What happens next?

I dare you to move
I dare you to move

I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor

I dare you to move

I dare you to move

Like today never happened

Today never happened before

Welcome to the fallout

Welcome to resistance

The tension is here

Between who you are and who you could be

Between how it is and how it should be

[Chorus]

Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?

Salvation is here

{Meet the J Family}

What a blast I had last week with this awesome family! I met Carmae at our church (Northern Hills) and loved her instantly! She told me we needed to get together to update the family photo, it had been since Savannah was a baby! Yikes! There was also another special reason for the session as well. Her "baby", Tony, will be leaving for Iraq in August to serve our country. It was such an honor to capture these special memories for this sweet family. Thank you, "J" family for inviting me to the party!

I had to include this picture. When this family laughs, you have to join them. They had some of the most genuine belly-laughter I have ever heard.

Father, I know you are a Holy God that holds us in the palm of Your mighty hand. I know that You alone know the plans that You have for us. I know You love us more than we can possibly imagine or comprehend. I pray that you keep this young soldier safe and well protected from all the dangers that may surround him. I also ask, Father, that You bring peace to the family he'll leave behind. Wrap your arms around them in a comforting embrace. I pray this in the name of our Savior, Jesus, who died that we may have life. Amen.
