Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

If you follow KGP on Facebook, you know that I recently was approved for an organization called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Check out their website to learn more. NILMDTS is a big contributing factor to why I got into photography. When I heard about this organization, my heart broke for parents that have endured such heartache and I hoped that someday I would be blessed to be a part of NILMDTS.



That day has come and I will be attending a NILMDTS training and be shadowing very soon. I'm feeling an array of emotion and am asking for prayer for the strength that only God will be able to provide...for the families, for the photographers, for healing.

I am so grateful for all the support that I've had this last year. First for my amazing husband, Chris. You have been such a rockstar with all the encouragement you've given me and all the never-ending praise. You have been my go to guy for all my wild ideas, my shoulder when I feel overwhelmed, and my proof reader so I don't "pull a Kaela". You are my best friend and I love how you've been my biggest cheerleader. Thank you!

My friends and family that have looked at countless pictures, given supportive feedback, and loads of compliments. To my boys that have been so patient with me on days that mommy is "doing photography". Thank you!

{R Family+3}

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting the R family. A while back I took the B family's pictures and C is D's sister in law. While they were in town for Thanksgiving, we were able to get together right before the turkey was carved! They picked the Butterfly Pavilion as their setting and it was beautiful! We got some great shots of the 4 grandchildren and their sweet Grandma E. See if you can find the butterflies, you'll have to look closely:)

I am SO behind on blogging! Can I blame it on the turkey still slowing down my system? :) Meet my sweet friends the K's! Aren't they cute? I met Bethany in my MOPS group last year and she has blessed my life in so many ways. I was thrilled when she called me up to take family photos! We had a pretty, "warm", wintery day in Colorado and the kids looked like they had just stepped out of the page of a magazine. Enjoy your pictures! I'll have the rest to you very soon:)
