Meet the Bernt's! I knew Nikki way back in Jr. High School! She found me on Facebook and wanted to know if I could take her family's pictures when next I was in Nebraska. I found my way back last week for a small visit and met up with my old friend. Our first location was the park where they got married, but it was locked:( So we had to change locations and found a GREAT place and the lighting was just awesome! Nikki, it was great to see you and meet your beautiful family! You have some sweet kids! Thank you for the opportunity to capture your family's memories:) I love, love this one:

{S Kids}

The S kids are growing up so fast! They are now in 1st grade, turning 4, half way to 3, and almost 8 months! I'm so happy to be a part of this family's life and capture their milestones. Baby Nevaeh took her first steps crawling and I got to share in this wonderul moment too! Sweet kids, you are too cute! I enjoyed hanging out with you! Thanks for a great morning!

I met Katie about a year ago at church. She and my awesome husband work together at Northern Hills Church. She was one of those people that I just loved as soon as I met her! She always has a smile on her face and has such a God-loving heart that spills over to others around her. I was thrilled when she asked me to take pictures of her sweet family and a bit nervous because she herself has a background in photography. Little "B" was so excited to show me about his 1st lost tooth! He also shared that he swallowed it-good thing the tooth fairy knew and left the money anyway. ;) I hope that you love your pics! {Baby B's Newborn Session}

I had the privilege of taking some pictures of baby "B" in his first hours of life. A few days ago I returned to the L's home for a newborn session. This family (like me) has a love/addiction for a wonderful and glorious beverage: coffee. So it was just so appropriate to bring my coffee cup-ok really it's a tea cup, but it worked so well. And he was just so cozy! Mom is one of our worship leaders at Northern Hills Church, so I loved Dad's idea of combining two of her passions. Thank you for allowing me to capture this moment. {my boys & bluebonnets}

I just got around to "developing" these. I was thrilled to see that there were so many bluebonnets when we went back to Texas for a visit. I wanted to take bluebonnets pics our last year in Texas (2008), but there wasn't enough rainfall for many of them to grow. I was so happy to see them when we were back in April! Texas sure can do wildflowers!
