My son had his first Tball game tonight. I am one proud mama!

I love this...there are no words that describe seeing my son so proud of himself and enjoying life!
Just waiting until he can play...

I just got around to "developing" these. I was thrilled to see that there were so many bluebonnets when we went back to Texas for a visit. I wanted to take bluebonnets pics our last year in Texas (2008), but there wasn't enough rainfall for many of them to grow. I was so happy to see them when we were back in April! Texas sure can do wildflowers!

{1st rose}

When we moved into our new house (which we LOVE) we acquired a few rose bushes. Those that know me will say that I have a bit of a brown thumb, but my thumb is getting green(ish)-as my Valentine's Day plant is still alive! And now... new life with our first rose of the season! It was so pretty I had to grab my camera!

{Our Urban Date Night}

My sweet hubby, Chris, had two mystery dates for me. He gave me two clues to choose from "up" or "down". I chose "down". I was told to wear comfortable shoes and to dress casual-but not too casual. I asked if I should bring my camera and he said, "Yeah. Isn't that your thing?" So we were on our way to "down"town, Denver to the 16th Street Mall. One of our most favorite places to go! Chris gave me the gift of conversation, shopping, and shooting (my camera that is) on our date night. It was such a fun evening! It gave me a chance to challenge myself in new ways.
